We’re Wired!

For the past year, our attempt has been to restore Apple Jacks by enhancing its original charm. We were certain that most individuals came to Big Bear Lake to get away from the hectic intrusions of city life. Didn’t everyone who came up the mountain turn off their cell phones, leave their laptops at home, and want to step back to a simpler time and place? Well, come to find out, that isn’t always true. Some time, people can only get away from the hectic world down the hill by devoting some of their time in Paradise to their work obligations. That’s why we added high-speed Wireless Internet capabilities to the den at Apple Jacks. The new phone service also offers unlimited free calling to anywhere in the continental U.S. To keep the rest of the family entertained, we finally gave in to adding a 40-inch high-definition television to the living room. Guests have unlimited free access to Showtime, HBO and the “movies-on-demand” channels. I suppose some would consider this “giving in to progress.” But we’d like to call it giving our guests the best of both worlds!
